IN you there’s something good; something for exultation, a blessing to bring healing to the world, peace and assistance to those in need.
“In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.
Many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
We are a chosen generation to bring healing to the world.
God has a purpose for our lives if we remain in His plan. He wants us to grow-mature up- and be use our spiritual gifts in His kingdom.
Christ asked His disciples, “how long will I be with you?” He wanted them to grow. He wanted them to mature up and take their positions in the ministry.
Copies the master
In order to grow we must be ready to learn.
Learning only takes place when the disciple in disciplined enough to obey, be taught and learn from the master.
Many are not ready to learn or to be taught.
Every believer should aim to learn and grow. A disciple follows and copies the master.
Jesus says follow me-copy me!
Luke 9:23. “ Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
To learn, we must have passion, like a child!
We must grow to that level where we follow our master , doing whatever He tells us to do. Do what Jesus did. He sacrificed His life for others.
Count yourself a special person God has chosen to use to reach out to His people. There is something special in you to save and bring healing and peace to planet earth.
It is the will of God for us to grow, to mature and be used of God.
God blesses you with growth so that you become a blessing to other people. Whatever God has given you, do no retain it; give it out.
Start becoming a blessing to people.
Here are three practical steps you can take to grow and become effective in the kingdom of God.
- Be faithful– in everything you do
Ephesians 6:7-8 “ Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.”
The Lord has promised He will generously reward His children for whatever good they do (no matter how small or insignificant). Faithful service yields staggering blessings.
- Be available– ready for service
Everyone God used in the Bible was available. Being available means to be handy, usable, useful. When Jesus called the 12 disciples they were available and ready.
Mathew 9:9 “ As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.”
Mark 1:16-20 “As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
At once they left their nets and followed him.
When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.
Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.”
- Be teachable- disciplined enough to obey instructions
Mathew 18:1-4 “At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
