Watching your company pays off!

Watching your company pays off! Friends either build of pull you down!

To maintain your deliverance, you will  not only be watching your company but even to overhaul  your circle of friends.

Show me your friends and I will tell your character!

The Bible warns us on the danger of not watching your company.

1 Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.”

When you find Christians in the company of people of questionable character ,mostly it is the believer who is compromising.

If a believer is going to live as Christ lived, then the non-believer will stop walking with them.

Amos 3:3  says, “Do two walk together unless they agree to do so.

People who walking, talk and sit together will give each other advice.

If you are watching your company , you are not going to have a non-believer giving you advice according to worldly principles.

2 Corinthians 6:14. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.

For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Simply put: Don’t walk with them.

Walk with non-believers

If you walk with non- believers you are soon going to stand, and sit with them!

Psalm1:1 says, “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that  sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.

And, I John 2: 15 “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the father is not in them.”

If you are close to people who do not know Christ, you start to crave the things that they crave, you start to care about the things they care about.

You start being dissatisfied about the things they are dissatisfied with and to complain about the things they complain about.

Satan, knows what the world traps us with.

Start watching your company and take action. Severe off connections that could lead you back into bondage.

Watching your company

The Bible equates befriending the world and things of the world with enmity with God.

James 4:4. You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]!

Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God. (AMPC).

Watching your company pays off.

Old friends, old habits are usually barriers to growth.

The company of friends you keep will build or destroy you.

After deliverance try and find a circle of new friends who share the faith and get inro fellowship.

Avoid old friends and old places.

They often pull you down.

Watching your company includes being aware of ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends.

Beware of old places you used to visit.

Satan would want to use these as weak links so that he may enter again and mess up your deliverance.
