A SEASON has ended and a new one is starting. In the new season BBI migrates completely to an on-line ministry.
“We have seen a need to migrate completely to an online platform. We will resume monthly teachings on Zoom and also conduct all our deliverance sessions on-line,” BBI founder and CEO, pastor Nellie told guests at the End of A season Dinner 2024 .
She said BBI office on Ngong Rd, Nairobi, Kenya remains closed for two years but invited partners to help purchase the property to be used as the ministry centre in Kenya. “I am believing God that in two years we will move into our ministry center.”
“During that time , my husband and I will be living in the US where we will continue in ministry. My first ministry assignment will be in August where I will teach at a conference. I believe that God has much work for us to do in the US in the next two years,” she said.
The End of a Season Dinner 2024 was a special thanks giving event where guests shared Holy Communion. Those who have supported the ministry in various capacities were honoured.
“If you are here tonight know that you are very special to BBI and thank you for honouring the invitation,” pastor Nellie told the guests.
Pastor Nellie said for 12 years BBI has faced each new year as a faith journey.

“Every Annual Plan has been written with Proverbs 16:9 in Mind A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps,” she said.
Reminding the guests of how one season ends and another begins, Pastor Nellie quoted Ecclesiastes 3:1 which says, “There is time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.”
She said the years 2012-2016 BBI taught and took people through deliverance in public forums. At the time Pastor Nellie lived with her husband, Dan Ole Shani, in London and would travel to Nairobi every three months.
Season ministry operated in home
In that season, the ministry operated from their home.
“We had a team of about 12 people. We started a training ministry and trained two cohorts. In that season, I published 7 books,” she said.
Between 2017-2019 pastor Nellie and her husband moved back to Kenya. “We rented an office off Ngong Road and continued to teach in public forums, produced a training manual and started to train at the office. We also started to go on missions outside Nairobi. This period was the peak of one-on-one sessions,” pastor Nellie told the guests.
In 2020-2022, COVID hit and changed the ay many ministries operated. BBI closed down all public meetings(Homecare) and moved ministry on-line.
Facebook -Live was averaging 50,000 views per week. Zoom conferences where we taught four of our core topics twice a month averaged 150 people at each zoom session.
“Highlight of 2022 was a mission to the DR Congo where we taught in an open air meeting and in various churches. We celebrated our 10th Anniversary in 2021 and published our first magazine” she said.
Next two years 2022-2024 marked a change is strategy. “As I listened to the Holy Spirit I heard Him tell me that the tide was changing, and changing rapidly. Five of our core activities were to be phased out,” she said.

Global outreach
Group sessions started in July and we have s far taken 800 women and 200 men through group deliverance sessions.
“Through the group sessions we are building a data base of people who understand the ministry well, are committed and who we are able to disciple. It is from this same data base that we have got trainees.
Group deliverance sessions have brought us the most people who have come back to volunteer in the ministry, the CEO said.
She said Diaspora zoom sessions have connected people from US, UK, Japan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Malawi, Zambia, South Africa, Ethiopia, and that is a clear testimony that BBI can reach the children of God globally.
pastor Nellie said hundreds of people now know about spiritual warfare and deliverance and “can stand their ground against the assault from the kingdom of darkness!”
Through another Zoom forum-Hurt to Heart we invited professionals in different areas to speak on issues that affect believers.
Founders and a representative of Love in Deed and Teen Challenge respectively, who partner with BBI graced the occasion.
“Our prayers will continue on Zoom. I encourage you to continue to plug in on-line. We will resume monthly teachings on Zoom as well and conduct our deliverance sessions on-line. Our training school is also going on-line,” she said of the new season.
This is awesome.
Glory to the Most High God for this far He has been our Ebenezer.
