WITCHCRAFT involves invoking evil spirits using spells to harm, manipulate an outcome or a circumstance. Anyone involved in witchcraft is an employee of the devil.
In this post, we at a look at five people who are likely to cast spells or use witchcraft on you!
Satan hates human beings because they replaced him in the Garden of Eden. He became jealous and tempted Eve to disobey God.

Witchcraft manipulates people
Ezekiel 28:13-14. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: carnelian, chrysolite and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.
Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared.
Each time he sees a human being, he is reminded of his fall and replacement. ever believe that a human being can be a friend of Satan! He finally destroys even witchdoctors who help him in accomplishing his purposes!
When people practice witchcraft, they are refusing to submit to God’s authority.

Satan lures humans by offering them power to control and manipulate others through magical arts, hexes, curses and spells.
God hates witchcraft because it manipulates people out of His will.
“You shall say, Thus says the Lord God: Woe to those who sew amulets for the wrists of every arm and make veils for every head size to snare lives!
You ensnare the lives of my people, even as you preserve your own lives!
You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and crumbs of bread, slaying those who should not be slain, and keeping alive those who should not live, lying to my people, who listen to lies. 
Therefore thus says the Lord God: See! I am coming after your amulets by which you ensnare lives like prey. I will tear them from your arms and set free the lives of those you have ensnared like prey.
I will tear off your veils and deliver my people from your power, so that they shall never again be ensnared by your hands. Thus you shall know that I am the Lord.” Ezekiel 13: 18-21.
In the Old Testament, those found guilty of practicing sorcery, divination, casting spells were punished by death.
Exodus 22:18. “Do not allow a sorceress to live.”
However in today’s world, witches, spell-casters, fortune tellers or diviners are not killed because of the grace, but if they do not turn away from witchcraft and give their lives to Christ, they will end up in the Lake of Fire in the day of judgement.

Leviticus 20:27. A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.
Witchcraft is Idolatry which God punishes to the fourth generation of those found guilty.
Deuteronomy 5: 7-9.You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft.
Or casts spells or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.
Micah 5:12. “I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.”
There is always a reason why people are drawn to witchcraft, the main reason being jealousy.
Jealousy is never an issue in a person who understands why God created them. A jealous person focuses on their neighbour’s achievements. They are never content with what they have.
People will also go to witchdoctors because of fear. They go there to seek protection against perceived enemies or for the fear of losing a loved one or some property.
They may also visit witchdoctors to get charms for wealth and power.
A person may also visit a witchdoctor after seeking a solution for a longstanding problem, for example, unemployment, barrenness or an incurable sickness.
The witchdoctors also promise charms for winning court cases, getting lost items or lovers back and even cure for ailments.
These five people are likely to be drawn to witchcraft and may cast spells on you;
- Office colleagues
There is no place where there is more jealousy than at the marketplace.
Many people have talked about finding witchcraft paraphernalia in their offices, workplaces and business premises.
Some employees will try and manipulate their bosses through witchcraft spells so that they can get a promotion.
Others through sheer jealousy, will try to get a colleague fired or a rival business closed down.
You are most likely dealing with witchcraft if you work in an office and your boss is never satisfied with your work whichever way you do it.
Or you have stayed in the same position for years, despite your juniors by-passing you for promotion.
- Landlord.
Witchcraft can cause a tenant to stay in a house where they are not happy with the services yet continue staying there.
One of the ways landlords may control the tenants is by burying a witchcraft object on the property.
There are tenants who have complained of strange noises, unexplained shadows, bad smell in certain rooms, nightmares.
A person who experiences these strange happenings should pray and ask God if the landlord may have cast a spell over them using witchcraft.
- Jilted lovers
Many people have been cursed by former lovers when their relationship ended. Such rejection often leads bitterness.
Bitterness comes with other spirits like resentment, unforgiveness, anger and revenge, to mention just a few that may have to be dealt with before the person is set free!
Often the spirits of retaliation and anger will drive a rejected lover to go and seek the services of a witchdoctor to hit back at the person who hurt them by casting a spell over their lives.
A former lover could cast a witchcraft spell that may continue to entrap a person and torment them in their future relationships where they will have a troubled marriage, remain unmarried or childless.
- Mothers-in-law
Some mothers-in-law, unfortunately see their daughters-in-law as strangers who have come to take away their son’s affections, attention and finances from them.
To gain back control over their son, they resort to witchcraft.
It is not uncommon for a man’s behaviour towards his life to change because of a witchcraft spell from the mother.
- Step-Mothers
There are situations where a man marries more than one wife. This is called polygamy. Witchcraft is often rampant in polygamous families.
Jealousy and competition for the man’s attention will often end up in the wives going to solicit the services of a witch doctor, so that their husband can favour them and their children.
Resources in a polygamous setting are often scarce as it has to be shared amongst many people. thereby causing competition and rivalry among the family members.
Seeing the children of a co-wife doing well is school or in life always causes jealousy and can attract a desire to curse them through witchcraft.
Witchcraft can become a survival tactic as the wives seek to protect themselves and their children using charms.
The wives also use love portions and witchcraft spells on the husband. It is curious to note that in polygamous homes it is the husband who dies first.
Prayer against witchcraft
Heavenly father, you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.(2 Timothy1:7).
Thank you that we are not victims but victors. In Christ we are always on the winning side.
Because of this fact we should not fear witchcraft.
You have told us in 2 Corinthians 2:11 that we should not be unaware of the devils’ schemes.
I thank you that he who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.
You defeated Satan and made a public show of him when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary!
Thank you for teaching us about the people who are likely to use witchcraft against us.
I pray for everybody who is trying to use witchcraft against me to turn to you for salvation otherwise they will end up in Hell.
I come against all witchcraft spells and curses that may be working against me from a step mother, mother-in-law, a former lover, my landlord or at my workplace.
I pull down their altars from which they are operating against me, my family, my business and my career.
All evil spirits that have been given assignments against my life and the lives of my family members, I command you to lose your hold and get out of our lives in the name of Jesus Christ.
I cancel your assignments in the mighty name of Jesus.
I declare we are set free. Come out in the name of Jesus Christ.
