BBI worship encounter 2025

BBI worship

THE much anticipated BBI worship encounter held on August 2 2025 was nothing short of a divine visitation. In an atmosphere charged with the power of God, the gathering brought together believers hungry for fresh fire.

A move of the Holy Spirit was tangible from the very beginning. It was clear that the Lord had set this day apart to reveal His glory, release His healing power and activate destinies through worship and intercession.

“There was such a weight of glory in the room,” one attendee whispered, “you could not stand under it—you just had to bow,” she said.

As worship rose, the atmosphere shifted evidently. The BBI worship team led the congregation in deep, Spirit-filled praise that ushered in a tangible presence of God.

Barriers broke

The worship created an atmosphere where faith rose, and barriers broke. People lifted their hands in surrender, many weeping, others rejoicing—each heart experiencing the move of God in a personal way. Some knelt- it was raw, real and holy.

“You could feel the Holy Spirit walking among us,” Melvin Dumars said. “I came in heavy, but I’m leaving light and free.”

Songs of adoration filled the room and hearts were lifted in unified surrender. “It was not just singing for me, it was warfare, intimacy and intercession all wrapped in one powerful session,” said Agnes Odero of her afternoon encounter.

Many found themselves in tears, hands lifted high as the Spirit of God ministered deeply to hidden wounds, fears and lifted heavy burdens off shoulders. The BBI worship afternoon became a supernatural key that unlocked divine encounters.

There was a distinct sense that heaven was open over the gathering. “I sensed that God was clearly responding to the worship and the faith in the room, there was such heavy anointing that I felt we could not waste, Pastor Nellie said after she had led prayers of deliverance, healing and restoration.

Chains broke and captives were set free. Waves of healing swept across the sanctuary at the Baptist church, Nairobi where the event was held.

“It was clear Jesus, our healer and deliverer, was present and working at the meeting,” pastor Nellie said.

Another key moment during the BBI worship encounter was the formal introduction of ministry team leaders. Most participants had not met physically and it was the first time “putting a face to the name tag(s) we often see on Zoom during prayer watches and Holy communion service.”

With humility and grace, the leaders were presented to the congregation, highlighting their commitment to the vision of spiritual revival, training, and intercession.

It was a spiritual commissioning. As they stood before the people, pastor Nellie laid hands upon them and prayers of divine enablement were made. The Spirit confirmed that these were vessels chosen for such a time as this.

Pastor Nellie said the leaders introduced carried a unique grace, a testimony of God’s calling and a burden for souls. Their roles within BBI, Irene Mbithe (Director, BBI School of Ministry), Pst Roy Agoya (Men Ministry Leader) and Pauiline Murima (Admin), were shared and the congregation responded with applause and prayerful support.

The BBI worship encounter reminded every attendee that God is not finished with His people. Instead, He is awakening a generation that will walk in boldness, holiness and spiritual authority.

As the day concluded, there were refreshments and an afterglow of the divine visitation. People lingered on, unwilling to leave the atmosphere that had so deeply refreshed and revived them.

“It was a day of divine encounter , I believe the BBI worship altar has been re-ignited at BBI, I think it will even be bigger next time,” Pioneer Atieno said.

The BBI worship afternoon was a powerful manifestation of what happens when people gather with expectation, unity and a hunger for God. Heaven responded. Jesus was exalted. And the Holy Spirit moved mightily.

“Surely, this is just the beginning of greater things to come. As BBI continues to contend for revival and kingdom advancement, this worship afternoon stands as a testimony that God is in the midst of His people—and He is moving,” pastor Nellie added.

The event ended with corporate thanksgiving prayers for the ministry. Pastor Nellie said BBI was birthed out of the “desire to see people set free.”

“Churches are full of people who are not walking in victory,” she said.

Earlier, pastor Nellie and BBI Chairman Dan Ole Shani hosted prayer leaders at their residence in Nairobi , Kenya for an afternoon of fellowship.
